Guinea’s government has briefly prohibited beauty pageants after the skimpy outfits in swimwear part caused outrage, states BBC Afrique.
The rivals paraded at the Prime Minister Mamady Youla in bikinis on Saturday, attracting severe critique on social media.
One book, Flash Guinee, asked in its headline if prime minister had been encouraging prostitution.
The ban is until an innovative new signal of ethics is used, community Minister Siaka Barry stated.
He said a committee was set up to create that code.
He added the government is finished its contract because of the organisers associated with the beauty pageant.
