If you’ve been playing the beta of Star Wars: Battlefront on either the PS4 or Xbox One, then you’ll know the game isn’t running at 1080p. In fact, the PS4 version runs at 900p while the Xbox One version is set at 720p. There was a chance this would be improved upon or equalized once the beta ended, but that is not the case. Those resolutions will remain for the final game.

We are used to the PS4 being able to achieve a slightly higher resolution and usually a superior average frame rate. However, Battlefront is different. Both versions of the game run at 60fps for most of the time with no screen tearing, but the PS4 version does suffer slightly more with frame rate drops. It’s not enough to really be noticeable, though, and both versions only really struggle during Walker Assault gameplay.
